What does 'enough' mean to you?
Happy May Day!
What is your relationship to conflict?
I'm working on the relationship between saying what needs to be said and saying it in a respectful, caring, non-judgmental way. My inclination is to avoid conflict, to even mediate away from it because I've believed that conflict was "bad", so if Im in conflict I'm "bad". Now I'm looking at it that I have certain believes and others do too - sometimes they don't gel together - but my view as much as anothers can be out there and heard. I think that in order to really do this right I have to be centered, calm, and know that we are all connected.
Where in your life do you follow your heart?
How do, or can, we create?
I am an Expressive Arts Therapist and so have studied my own and others process of creating for a while now. My own process of creating feels very much like speaking with God - and so co-creating - it is very meditative and inspirational. For others, perhaps there are so many wounds around creating - getting graded for one, feeling that you have to be an artist to create and limiting yourself to thinking that only the arts are where you can be creative - that most people get hung up there. I believe with my whole heart that we all should re-learn how to be create and be creaive and so I break it down and help people do just that. Being creative in a therapeutic setting can be healing, allow for self-discovery, deepen our resources and enhance our body, mind and spirit. The imagination is the bridge between the self and the world. How can we deprive ourselves of that in our life times!? Check out where I work www.lifesculpting.biz we offer weekly drumming circles for example and lots of other opportunities to be creative.
